Next Generation is the annual, exciting one night only performance that empowers talented young dancers to reach for the stars. Featuring Boston Ballet II and Graduate Program artists, and students of Boston Ballet School’s Professional Division at Walnut Hill School for the Arts, this is a performance of exceptional dance, showcasing rising talent in the dance world.

The 2025 Spring Experience program combines three sublime ballets that showcase the breadth and beauty of ballet today. Alongside Mikko Nissinen’s brilliantly reimagined Raymonda, the program includes two beloved works of Jiři Kylián, who is the among the most revered choreographers of our time.

TRAGIC ROMANCE | STUNNING SCORE | UNFORGETTABLE DANCING
Brand new to Boston, Jean-Christophe Maillot’s exquisite Roméo et Juliette is a beautifully fresh take on the timeless Shakespearean tale. Boston Ballet dancers will captivate you in the shimmering full-length ballet that is true poetry in motion. The ballet is set to the radiant Prokofiev score performed to new heights by the Boston Ballet Orchestra.
