Q: What if I cannot attend one of my scheduled subscription performances?
A: You can exchange your subscription ticket for another performance of the same ballet. Just call Subscriber Services one full business day prior to your scheduled show time, or the show you would like to move into, whichever is earlier (all weekend exchanges must be received by 5pm on Thursday). We can make the exchange and confirm your new seat over the phone, and you may then swap the tickets in person at the theater. Your first exchange for each ballet is free, and each thereafter is just $5 per ticket.
Q: As a subscriber, if I buy additional tickets, will the tickets be next to the ones that I have for my subscription?
A: We will make an effort to secure seats next to your current seats; however, this is not always possible. We have subscribers and donors who occupy many seats in the house. You can exchange your subscription tickets in order to get all of your tickets together. But if you don't want to give up your seats, we can always look for the closest seats to the ones you currently hold.
Q: Are my extra tickets exchangeable?
A: Any tickets purchased by a subscriber can be exchanged, except for the gala performance, Night of Stars.
Q: As a subscriber, if I miss a performance, do I have the opportunity to see the show? Could I get a refund?
A: If you miss a performance and the run of that particular ballet has not ended, you can take advantage of subscriber stand-by. Take your unused subscription tickets (it is not possible to do a subscriber stand-by with additional single tickets) to any of the remaining performances, go to the Citi Performings Arts Center Box Office one hour before the performance starts, and you will receive the best available seats for that performance in your section. All tickets are final sales. Refunds are not possible. Subject to availability.
Q: How do I exchange my subscription tickets?
A: Subscription tickets must be exchanged at least one full business day prior to the performance that you wish to move out of and at least one full business day prior to the performance that you want to move into. Simply call the Box Office to arrange the new performance date, time and seating. After doing so, you can either mail or fax your old tickets (if you fax them they must be torn in half) to the Box Office. We will mail the new tickets out upon receiving your old tickets, or you can have them held at your new performance at the subscriber window. If you choose to have the tickets held at the subscriber window, you must bring your old tickets with you in order to exchange them for your new ones.
Q: Will my Nutcracker tickets be the same as my subscription tickets?
A: No, seating for The Nutcracker is on a first-come first-served basis.
Q: As a subscriber, can I exchange my Nutcracker tickets?
A: Yes, subscribers can exchange Nutcracker tickets. Same exchange rules for subscription tickets apply (see above How do I exchange my subscription tickets?)
Q: As a subscriber, will I get my 10% discount on tickets outside of my subscription if I purchase them at the Citi Performing Arts Center Box Office?
