Boston Ballet II is an exciting group of young dancers that perform with Boston Ballet and separately in the Greater Boston Community. Under the direction of Bonnie Mathis, BBII dances in the public schools through Auspices of Young Audiences of MA and independently in universities and smaller venues where the main company cannot perform.

BBII is available for lecture demonstrations and performance workshops catered to groups of all ages. These workshops and demonstrations aim to develop audience appreciation for ballet as an art form by introducing classical and contemporary ballet through choreographed segments. Interactive audience participation is especially geared towards young men by stressing the athleticism required to be a dancer.
