Internships at Boston Ballet

Boston Ballet, the fourth largest dance company in the United States, offers internships for undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in arts administration and nonprofit organizations. Positions are unpaid and are available throughout the academic year or during the summer. The Ballet asks for a commitment of 12-15 scheduled hours per week. The number of positions varies according to departmental needs. Interns may receive academic credit for participation in Boston Ballet's internship program.

An internship with Boston Ballet offers valuable experience working in the exciting and vibrant atmosphere of a world-class dance company. The repertory includes an eclectic mix of classic story ballets, contemporary ballets, and avant-garde works.

Applicants should submit a resume & cover letter. The cover letter should include the internship(s) of interest to the applicant, the precise dates and hours per week of availability and whether applicant is requesting academic credit. After an initial review of applications, selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.
