Boston Ballet is seeking individuals to supervise children during rehearsals and performances of The Nutcracker, both at the studios and in the theater. Boston Ballet annually presents the world’s largest production of The Nutcracker at the Opera House in downtown Boston. Approximately 275 children perform each year in the production. As a children’s supervisor, individuals are responsible for monitoring children during auditions, rehearsals, costume fittings, photo shoots and performances. Supervisors will escort children backstage at the Opera House and must be familiar with the production for the purposes of getting the children to wardrobe and on stage at the appropriate times, as well as efficient and safe entrances and exits from the stage area. Experience working with children is required and previous supervisory experience is preferred. Working knowledge of music, dance, and performing arts productions is a plus.

Please email resumes along with a cover letter to Jennifer Markham, Children’s Coordinator, jmarkham@bostonballet.com.
