Costume Department - First Hand

Busy costume shop seeks qualified first hand
(35-40 weeks, full time) starting in August.  Ideal candidate has 3+ years in a professional shop as a first hand and/or stitcher.  Must have excellent hand and machine sewing skills, be well organized and have a positive attitude.  Responsibilities include garment construction and alterations; assisting with fittings; fabric preparations; working with stitchers, interns and volunteers.  Pay commensurate with experience.
